Downloading and installing the 3D Van Gogh Museum

Step 1. Print this page and keep it for reference.

Step 2. Review the system requirements
Before you start downloading the installation program, make sure your computer meets the following minimum requirements:

Pentium® II 233 Mhz
64 MB Internal memory
100 MB free hard disk space
Microsoft Windows 95 or later
Internet Explorer 4.0 or Netscape Navigator 4.0

Please note:
The 3D Van Gogh Museum application requires a Personal Computer with a Windows operating system.

Step 3. Download the installation program
Click here to download 3D Van Gogh Museum. When asked to save the installation file on your computer, make sure you save the file in a place where you can find it. Write down the name of the file and its location.
Please note:
Downloading the installation program with a 28.8k modem will take approximately 40 minutes.

Step 4. Install the program
When you’ve successfully downloaded the installation program, locate the installation file named VanGogh.exe, and then double-click it to start installing the viewer.

Step 5. View the Virtual Tour
When you’ve successfully installed the viewer application, return to the following url, /cgi-bin/index.asp, to view the 3D Van Gogh Museum Virtual Tour.
